Client Course Description

The mission of the founders of Hazeltine was to build and maintain a golf course suitable for the conduct of national championships. An important part of the mission was to develop a membership that supported this concept – a membership that felt a responsibility to the game of golf and its rules and traditions. Similarly, it requires the highest standards of conduct by all members and guests as they play the game.

Designer Notes

We remodeled this Robert Trent Jones classic prior to both the 1991 U.S. Open Championship and the 2002 PGA Championship. We have performed extensive work for the 2009 PGA Championship as well. During the summer of 2010, under the supervision of Rees Jones, Inc. all of the greens at Hazeltine National were rebuilt to USGA specifications.

In 2020, The club asked for an updated Master Plan.  Select projects are ongoing.
