Client Course Description
The Carolina Country Club, located in Raleigh, NC, is a private 18-hole facility that opened in 1910. Originally known as the Raleigh Country Club, the Carolina Country Club was renamed in 1918.
The par 71 course measures between 6,304 - 5,119 yards, depending on which of the four sets of tee markers is played.
Designer Notes
In April 2016, Rees Jones, Inc. began implementing Phase One of a recently approved Long Range Master Plan. The Phase One scope of work includes: expansion of tee complexes, adding and removing several bunkers, reconstructing all remaining bunkers, reconstruction of four green complexes and resurfacing of all remaining greens, construction of a new hole #17, fairway grading and the installation of additional drainage. All putting surfaces will be converted to "Champion" ultradwarf bermudagrass with Tifgrand bermudagrass collars. New concrete cart paths are being installed. The course reopened in the 2016.
