Dacotah Ridge Golf Club
Course Type: Public
Design Role: New Design 2000
Co-Designer(s): Steve Weisser
Designer Notes
The Dacotah Ridge Golf Club, located in the Lower Sioux Indian Community in southwest Minnesota, is an example of prairieland golf at its finest. The rolling hills, native grasses and the fast and clear Wabasha Creek, a tributary of the Minnesota River, gives each hole natural drama and definition. The 7th is one such hole. The tee shot on this short par three must cross the Wabasha twice, a shot made more interesting when the prairie wind blows.
