Nashawtuc Country Club
Course Type: Private
Design Role: Redesign 2012, 2019
Co-Designer(s): Bryce Swanson
Designer Notes
Located in historical Concord, Massachusetts, Nashawtuc Country Club is a private, member owned club. Nashawtuc has sustained its reputation as one of the finest in Massachusett’s Metrowest by building and maintaining immaculately manicured fairways and well-proportioned greens, which roll true. The course is full of subtle, even devious challenges that keep golfers excited about playing. Originally designed in 1960 by Geoffrey S. Cornish, the club recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010. The Club has approved a Long Range Master Plan in December 2012. The focus of the improvements will be rebuilding the fairway and greenside bunkers along with installing fairway drainage to improve playing conditions for the membership. Select tee complexes will be relocated to improve the tee shot angle and tees will be adjusted to improve the playing experience for all levels of golfers. The work will be phased over a period of time to limit the impact on the golfing season.
