Client Course Description

Located on Long Island’s fabled Gold Coast, North Hills CC’s naturally flowing land inspired the creation of an exceptional golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1961. Sweeping fairways, gently contoured greens and sparkling ponds characterize the 6,730-yard, par-72 layout. The holes are carved from the rolling forest of the Allen-Boggs-Levitt estates in the Village of North Hills. Timber was cleared with great care to preserve the stately oaks, sweet gums, birch and tulip trees, ensuring a beautiful arboreal setting for the golf course. The holes trace the contour of the land and have been graded for easy walking. No two succeeding holes are alike either in length or shot value. Each hole presents a fair challenge to both low and high handicap golfers. North Hills hosted the first edition of the LPGA Tour’s Western Union Cla
