Client Course Description
Located near majestic Mt. Takamatsu, this 37-hole course is renowned throughout Japan as the site of the Shizuoka Open Golf Tournament played on the Japan Golf Tour from 1973-2002. The course is comprised of the 18-hole Takaoka Course which is surrounded by ancient pines and the 19-hole Ogasa Course which demands distance and accuracy off the tee. Combined with the exquisite undulations of the surrounding landscape, both courses offer a great variety of holes to play and enjoy.
Designer Notes
Designer implemented a long range master plan and a complete restoration of the golf courses while also updating the golf course features to today’s standards.
